\u00b7 The Gram Sabha has been given the independent right to decide the use of the funds. For this, the Gram Sabha has to prepare an annual planning plan for the unallocated funds and get its approval in the Gram Sabha. While preparing the plan, it is necessary to consider the people of each village\/pada falling within the area of \u200b\u200bthe Gram Panchayat. After that, the Gram Panchayat plan has to be consolidated with the consent of all in the Gram Sabha.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 The following four types of work are to be carried out from this fund for the complete development of the village.<\/p>\n

A)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Infrastructure<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Gram Panchayat offices, health centers, anganwadis, schools, cemeteries, sweet shops, internal village roads and similar infrastructure facilities in the respective village.<\/p>\n

B<\/strong>)\u00a0<\/strong>Forest Rights Act and PESA Act<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Implementation<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Tribals' livelihood<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Providing training\/guidance through training centers in business matters.<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong>2. Village pond development or fish farming business\/purchase of fish seeds.<\/p>\n

3. Developing common lands.<\/p>\n

4. Management of minor water bodies.<\/p>\n

5. Developing common natural resources and common property.<\/p>\n

C) Health, Sanitation, Education<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Building public toilets<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong>2. Maintain cleanliness in the village .<\/p>\n

3. Construction and maintenance of sewers for sewage systems.<\/p>\n

4.Providing clean drinking water.<\/p>\n

\u00a0D<\/strong>)\u00a0Afforestation<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>wildlife conservation<\/strong>,<\/strong>\u00a0Water conservation<\/strong>,<\/strong>forest basins<\/strong>,<\/strong>wildlife tourism and forest livelihoods .<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Selection of the work by the Gram Sabha shall be deemed to be the administrative approval of the Gram Sabha for that work. Separate technical approval shall not be required for the work selected by the Gram Sabha worth less than Rs. 3 lakhs and the procedure for obtaining technical approval for the work worth more than Rs. 3 lakhs shall be as per paragraph-4(6).<\/p>\n

*Also, corrigendums have been issued as per the government decision dated 20\/02\/2016 from the Tribal Department regarding spending of 5% of the funds on PESA B and D.<\/p>\n
