Nature of the scheme<\/strong><\/span><\/td>\nA subsidy of Rs. 10,000\/- can be deposited in the bank account of the girl child through DBT for distribution of Kanyadan material to the girl child from families below the poverty line and families whose income limit is up to Rs. 1,20,000\/-.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Objective of the scheme<\/strong><\/span><\/td>\nIt will help prevent child marriage. Alternatively, malnutrition, infant mortality and maternal mortality can be prevented.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
