For general group, the amount is Rs. 14,350\/- per plant, for Scheduled Castes and Tribes, the amount is Rs. 22,000\/- per plant, if toilet is connected, the amount is Rs. 1,600\/- per plant. Under the Z.P. Cess Fund, a supplementary grant of Rs. 12,000\/- is payable per plant.<\/p>\n<p>Beneficiaries: Farmers from all categories can avail the benefits but the said beneficiaries should have 2 to 3 animals. Also, they should have 7\/12, 8A.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Advantages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Biogas is a great alternative to traditional fuels.<\/li>\n<li>Along with biogas production, good quality organic fertilizer, good compost fertilizer helps prevent the spread of diseases and weed seeds.<\/li>\n<li>Helps prevent air pollution.<\/li>\n<li>This is a good way to dispose of human excreta in rural areas, which helps to avoid problems related to proper sanitation.<\/li>\n<li>Women are freed from the problem of gas leakage.
