Scheme started:- This scholarship is given to economically backward students in junior colleges.
Area :- The candidate should be a resident of Maharashtra.
Beneficiaries :- In this examination, the economically backward class student must have secured at least 50 percent marks in the secondary school leaving examination and also must have secured at least 50 percent marks in the first attempt in the examination conducted at the end of class 11. Only then will this scheme continue till class 12. To avail the benefits of the scheme, students must apply through the DBT portal within the prescribed period.
Benefits :- Scholarship amount is directly deposited into the bank account of eligible students through PFMS.
