To maintain control over the district establishment of the accounts department and the office establishment of the finance department as per Schedule 1 under Rule 3 of the Maharashtra Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti Accounts Code 1968 .
To exercise supervisory control over the accounting system in all departments of the Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti.
