Grants and Benefits:-
1. Under this scheme, 60% subsidy is received from the Central Government and 40% subsidy from the State Government. As per the guidelines of the Central Government, the cost of the houses has been fixed at Rs. 1, 20, 000/- and for very remote, hilly and Naxalite areas at Rs. 1, 30,000/-. Out of the amount of Rs. 1, 20, 000/-, subsidy is provided for the construction of new houses. In this, the Central Government's subsidy share is 60%, and the State Government's subsidy share is 40%. House amount: - The subsidy above 1,20,000/- can be deposited in the bank account of the beneficiaries through the PFMS system.
2. While sanctioning the house, the first installment is Rs. 15,000/-, the second installment is Rs. 45,000/-, the third installment is Rs. 40,000/-, and the fourth installment is Rs. 20,000/-.
3. Toilets also have to be constructed during the entire construction of the house.
