Beneficiaries:
A woman who has had her first child as a boy or girl and her second child as a girl and who meets any of the following criteria is eligible.
Women whose net family income is less than Rs. 8 lakh per annum.
Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe women.
Eligible beneficiaries who have a ration card available under the National Food Security Act.
Women who are partially (40 percent) or completely disabled (Divyang Jan)
BPL woman with ration card.
Women beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.
A woman with an e-labor card.
Beneficiary women farmers under Kisan Samman Nidhi
A woman with a MGNREGA job card.
Anganwadi worker, Anganwadi helper, ASHA worker
Nature of benefit :
For the first child :
First Installment – रु.3,000/- : Pregnancy registration at a hospital recognized by the state government within 6 months. At least one antenatal check-up is required.
Second Installment – रु.2,000/- : The child must complete primary vaccination up to Penta – 3. (Up to 14 weeks)
For second child (if girl) one lump sum Rs. 6,000/-: Birth certificate is required and the child must be vaccinated up to Penta 3 (14 weeks)
