Since most of Jawhar taluka is hilly and mountainous, the main crops grown here are rice, finger millet, and foxtail millet, along with other crops such as pigeon pea, black gram, and niger seed. Additionally, as a supplementary form of agriculture, jasmine cultivation, floriculture, and the cultivation of brinjal, chili peppers, tomatoes, cashews, mangoes, and mulberries are also undertaken.
